Bulky heavy items will incur a delivery charge of £4.95 in the UK and $30 in the US. For all other countries shipping charges are calculated at Checkout.
Due to the vast number of products that we stock, some will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. In these instances, you will be notified by email.
Your order will be dispatched from the UK and may incur custom fees. It is your responsibility to pay the custom fees in order to receive the goods. The shipping provider will contact you directly to notify you of this. By confirming the order at checkout, you acknowledge that you will not be refunded for your delivery charge should you not wish to pay the custom fee.
We know that the current situation is uncertain for everyone, but we want to assure you that we at Live Better With are taking it very seriously. We would like to assure you that the courier providers we are using to deliver your order(s), are taking all the necessary steps to further protect their own people as well as deliver to you, our customer. All the couriers have new plans and processes in place which are necessary to ensure delivery.
If the courier service you use has an alternative delivery option available, such as Diversions and a Safe Place option, we suggest you select this option. All of this means that you do not have to receive the parcel directly from the courier, or sign for it, which will enable continued delivery of your parcels.
If you have selected the signature option, some couriers will have processes to minimise contact and therefore where a Safe Place is possible, couriers will deliver to that Safe Place. They will then take a photo to confirm safe delivery and then provide you with a calling card stating the safe place.
If a Safe Place is not available, couriers will knock on the door, but rather than signing, couriers may ask your name, and input this on their hand-held device and then write “Covid-19” in the signature box. By capturing the name they are ensuring the security of delivery is maintained whilst avoiding the need for you to physically sign.
All of our couriers, suppliers and our warehouse are following the clear government guidelines with cleaning, and deep cleaning where necessary. Whilst also recruiting additional staff to support and ensure the delivery pipeline is unaffected, should any additional resource need arise.
