As part of Live Better With’s mission to make everyday living a little better for the millions of people living with cancer, today marks the launch of our very first cookbook: Eat Better With Cancer.

The cookbook, which includes 92 beautiful pages of stories, tips, and meal plans, brings together recipes that members of the Live Better With cancer community found tasty and easy to cook while going through treatment.

Contributors include writers, bloggers, entrepreneurs, and chefs, including Jackie Buxton, author of Tea & Chemo, Jennifer Young, creator of the Defiant Beauty skincare range, and Bryan Thom, Head Chef at the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh.

“These are not necessarily complete meals or fancy concoctions. They are simply what those living with cancer ate while going through treatment,” said Tamara Rajah, CEO & founder of Live Better With.

She added: “While there are many other fantastic recipe books out there, we want to bring you a selection that reflects real day-to-day life. We hope that this gives you, or a loved one, some ideas, and that you also enjoy reading the tips and stories from all our contributors.”

Eat Better With Cancer - cancer cookbook

Profits raised from the cancer cookbook go to our partner charity, Marie Curie. We are excited and honoured to raise funds for Marie Curie, whose tireless work is world renowned. Having the opportunity to help raise further awareness of the work undertaken by Marie Curie, whilst also raising funds to support them, is at the heart of Live Better With.

Marie Curie UK said: “Marie Curie is delighted to be the beneficiary of this book, which will help us to support even more people living with a terminal illness and their families. With a contribution from one of our hospice Chefs, this book brings to life a unique community collection of easy-to-cook recipes and tips for eating when living with cancer.”
